GENERAL RIDE INFORMATION

When is the Impact Ride?
The Ride will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2019. The ride site will open at 6:30 am on the day of the event.

Where is the Impact Ride?
The start/finish of the Ride will be held at Sensata Technologies located at 529 Pleasant Street, Attleboro, MA 02703.

How much is the registration fee?

arly Bird (February 11 - March 31, 2019) - $35
Standard (April 1 - September 8, 2019) - $45
Last Chance (September 9 - September 26, 2019) - $60

Youth participants take $10 off the above prices.

Is my registration fee tax-deductible?
No, your registration fee helps defray the costs of producing the event and is not considered tax-deductible. However, any amount that you choose to donate above the entry fee is tax-deductible.

What is included in the registration fee?
You will get an Impact Ride number, t-shirt, lunch and a great feeling!

How can I register?
You can register online using the green "Register" button at the top of this page.

How will I receive my Ride packet?
Packets will be distributed the morning of the event. Please allow enough time before your route's departure time to ensure that you can pick up your packet and warm up.

How long is the Impact Ride?
There are three routes to choose from, a 25 mile route, a 62 mile route and a 100 mile route. If you are unable to ride, you can still register and join us on the day of the event. We are always looking for people to cheer on our riders.

How can I become a volunteer?
The success of the Impact Ride depends heavily on the support we receive from our volunteers in the months leading up to the Ride and on Ride Day. There are many ways you can get involved, for more information, click here.

Are pet and strollers allowed at the event?
We do not allow children to be towed on your bike. Pets are not permitted on the grounds of Sensata Technologies.

Can my friends and family come cheer me on?
Family and friends are welcome to cheer on cyclists from the start/finish line. Only Impact Ride participants and registered volunteers are permitted at the rest stops. Please do not have someone follow you in a vehicle during the ride. Support and Gear vehicles will be available to transport you to the finish line if you are unable to complete the ride.

What if it rains?
Komen holds the right to cancel or change the date or location of the Ride in its sole discretion, including in the circumstance of extreme weather. It is likely, however, that the event will happen rain or shine. Please dress accordingly.

FUNRAISING FAQ

Does the Impact Ride require fundraising?
Yes - each participant must raise a minimum of $300 to participate. 

Does the money raised stay right here in our community?
Yes! The majority of the net income from the Ride stays right here in our community to fund vital breast cancer health education and breast cancer screening and treatment programs. The remaining income supports Komen’s national research and training grants programs.

Where do I send donations?
Donations can be mailed to: 76 Batterson Park Road, Farmington, CT 06032. For donations on behalf of an individual participant or a team, please include that information with your check.

Is there a deadline for fundraising?
All donations on your behalf that are received by October 28, 2019 will be credited to your fundraising total.

When will I receive my fundraising incentives?
Your fundraising incentives are calculated based on the total fundraising dollars you have collected. Incentives can be picked up on the day of the event (if fundraising goals are met after the event, incentives will be mailed).

TEAM FAQ

How do I form a team?
You can form a team or join a team online during the registration process. For more information, contact us at (774) 512-0506 or tbelden@KomenNewEngland.org .

What are the benefits of a team?
Forming or joining a team multiplies the fun you will have on Ride day. You can create a team to celebrate a survivor or honor someone you have lost. You can also create a corporate team and get your entire company involved. To learn more check out the Team Rewards page.

Do teams have to fundraise?
Participants on teams must reach their fundraising minimum to be able to participate in the Impact Ride. Fundraising as a team can be fun and make it easier to reach your goals! 

One of my team members registered as an individual when they meant to join my team. How do they correct this?
Please contact Tricia Belden at tbelden@komennewengland.org to get this corrected.

Can donations made to a team be split or shared among team members?
We are unable to split or transfer donations between individual and team accounts.
